We are extremely excited to announce that Dr. Workman has accepted a new position as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. The Stanford University School of Medicine is located in Stanford, California, and is the medical school of Stanford University. Stanford Medicine prides itself on its collaborative research and innovation for the future of healthcare.
Dr. Workman will assist in the education and training of resident physicians and fellows in the Department of Orthopedics, through lectures and by having them accompany him in his clinic while seeing patients and in the operating room. Additionally, Dr. Workman will have these young physicians travel with him as he cares for the players in the Oakland Athletics organization, at Spring Training in Arizona and during the regular season in Oakland. Dr. Workman will continue to maintain his private practice in addition to this new academic appointment.
